“Chaos Maker”

Chaos Maker

March 18, 2026

The United States of America has always been a nation of laws.  We were founded on the principle that we are a nation of law- abiding citizens.  So, it is somewhat of an anomaly when we elect a law breaker as our chief law enforcement officer.

According to the constitution of the United States of America which is based on a history of law all the way back to the Magna Carta which goes back to 1215, which was seen as “a foundational document forced upon England’s King John by rebel barons to limit arbitrary royal power and protect feudal rights.  It established that the sovereign is subject to the rule of law, guaranteeing rights like trial by jury and due process.”  (from Wikipedia, quoted in Google on Internet)

“It is considered a cornerstone of constitutional law and human rights.” (from Wikipedia, quoted in Google on the Internet).

Why do I, a citizen of the United States of America, say this?

Our current president, Donald J. Trump, has been elected twice, once in 2017 (as the 45th President) and again in 2025 (as the 47th President of the United States).  He is a Republican and is opposed by the party of the Democrats.  I write as an Independent voter, as I support neither party, but try to vote for the best person for the job, in our four- year election cycle.

A citizen of the United States can vote for either party, or choose not to vote at all.  I choose, in my own conscience and belief to vote as an Independent.  In our election process, according to our laws, we can make our own decision in our representative government.

We also have a second system, in which each state has electors, who represent their state, which is a hold-over from English parliamentary law.  This is part of our electoral system, which currently has 538 votes (counting Washington, District of Columbia).  A simple majority of electoral votes (270 or more) is required to elect the president and vice-president.  If no candidate achieves a majority, a contingent election is held by the House of Representatives, to elect the president, and by the Senate, to elect the vice president.

(also from Wikipedia, quoted in Google on Internet)

We have some complications to our election system, and I will try to explain these briefly:

Since President Donald J. Trump is a Republican, and the party of Republicans currently holds power in both houses (the House of Representatives and the Senate) (bicameral system), but also the Supreme Court, the final adjudication body (9 Justices). “Its role is to resolve disputes on the Constitution and federal law, acting as a check on the legislative and executive branch who vote on and debate laws.”  (from Wikipedia, quoted on Google on Internet).

Since not everyone agrees, the nine justices, including Chief Justice Roberts vote on each case presented before their body (SCOTUS).  For the particular case to be decided, there must be a majority vote, and 5 justices must agree.  One justice writes the majority opinion, and the other justices write dissenting opinions, if they choose to do so.

The nine justices are supposed to be impartial judges, but as they are all human beings, they sometimes lean politically one way or another.  Since President Trump appointed two of the last three Supreme Judges (Brett Kavanaugh (2018) and Amy Coney Barrett (2020) and also appointed (Neil Gorsuch  (2017)), these same judges named here have voted with Republican leanings.  Only recently did the Supreme Court rule against President Trump with its ruling on IEEPA Tariffs (on February 26, 2026).  President Trump responded by imposing a 10% tariff under section 122, effectively immediately. (from Wikipedia, quoted on Google on Internet)

With this as background, let us begin our primary argument.  I am stating my opinion, as I am not trained in judicial matters, and am expressing only my opinion.

There are many events associated with our current president (Donald J. Trump) that have troubled my conscience, as it relates to morality and law.

First, I was deeply troubled by:

“the January 6, 2021, violent attack on the U.S. Capitol, the Vice President, Members of Congress and the democratic process.  Rioters, attempting to disrupt the Joint Session of Congress, broke into the Capitol building, vandalized and stole property, and ransacked offices.”  Mike Pence was vice-President 2017-2021. (from Wikipedia, quoted on Google on Internet)

This was two months after President Trump’s defeat in the 2020 presidential election.  When re-elected President, Trump used his powers of presidential pardon to waive his supporters’ crimes and released them from prison and any sentence of jail.

Second, I am troubled by the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Jeffrey Epstrein was a close friend of Trump before he became President, along with his wife Melania Knauss (m. 2005) and Maria Maples (m 1993-1999).  Only recently have the Epstein files been slowly released and many parts are still redacted.  There are allegations (according to NPR) that President Trump sexually abused a minor.    She is identified by NPR as a 13 year old female who “directly named Trump in her abuse allegation claimed that around 1983, when she was around 13 years old, Epstein introduced her to Trump, “who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit.  In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out.”

Independent journalist Roger Sollenberger reported the discrepancy in the file for the Trump accuser.   (Npr.org in Google Earth on Internet).

It appears, in my opinion, that something did happen related to Donal J. Trump’s association with Jeffrey Epstein, but this is being covered up by our own Department of Justice, to protect the reputation of this president.

I could also mention Prince Andrew, Duke of York who has suffered legal consequences due to his association with Epstein.  He was stripped of his honors and titles in 2025. (Wikipedia, found in Google on Internet).  Virginia Guiffre, says she was forced to have sexual relations with Andrew on three occasions in the early 2000s, beginning at age 17.  She later died by suicide in April, 2025.  (Wikipedia, Google, on Internet)

The old adage I grew up with, “Where there is smoke, there is fire.”  It is hard not to believe the claims regarding Donald Trump are true, as we know the facts regarding Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his titles by his mother Queen Elizabeth II and by his brother, King Charles III, former Prince of Wales.

I could go on to mention another items of concern:

There was President Trump’s interference in the Georgia electoral process in 2020.  Biden was elected President by a small margin.  Trump sought to interfere by challenging Raffensperger in a widely publicized phone call to find 11,780 more votes, the exact number he needed to win the state.  The case was set to be tried in Fulton County Superior Court with judge Scott F. McAfee presiding.  However, after Fani Willis was disqualified and Peter Skandalakis took over as prosecutor, Skandalakis chose not to proceed with the charges, thereby ending the case.  (see Wikipedia, on Google)

I am noticing a pattern here: We have a lawbreaker, as I have alleged and hopefully proven to unbiased readers, who has been elected by the voting public twice as our primary law enforcer.  It is no wonder that what we currently have is “chaos”.  Our president is a “chaos maker!”

I have previously written that we corporately as a nation need to “repent of our sins and return to God our Savior and Redeemer.”  I have also previously written an article about “a just war” and I have declared our current war with Iran to be “unjust”, according to categories established by Saint Agustine, Bishop of Hippo in the 4th century Egypt (AD 354-430).  I am not sure how I can make my opposition to the unjust war with Iran and our own lawbreaker as our currently elected president any clearer!

I have said about everything I know to say, not being an elected politician and simply an American voter, living in Pendleton, of the state of South Carolina.  I had relatives who fought in the Civil War (the War Between the States).  I am directly related to persons who owned African American slaves and to those who left the south due to their own opposition to slavery.  I am an American citizen.

I don’t know how to make this any clearer.

So, I will pray for all of us, who feel confused and those who do not feel confused.  I will also pray for those who don’t know what they feel about any of this:

“Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God, Maker of Heaven and Earth, and all things living and not living.  O Lord God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost:  Hear our prayers, both corporately and individually—In your mercy find mercy for us.  Let your truth and grace be known!  Grant to us wisdom and grace, so that we will know the truth of all these matters, as you have promised in your Holy Scriptures; “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free – and you shall be free indeed!”” (the Gospel of John 8:33).  Amen!

Bill Wilson, servant of God, by God’s grace and mercy.  Amen.
